Jammu, Feb 26: Former Minister and Zonal President JKNC, Babu Rampaul has slammed state’s administration for unleashing misrule in J&K under which everybody is unhappy and restless and eagerly waiting for conduct of Assembly elections to get rid of this regime.
Babu Rampaul said this while addressing the youth meeting in Jammu. He was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Former MLA and NC leaders Bimla Luthra and Vijay Lakhshmi Datta were guest of honour.
The meeting was organized by, Dr Vikas Sharma Coordinator Jammu District Urban and Zonal Secretary JKNC at Sher-E-Kashmir Bhawan which was attended by numbers of youth.
He stated that NC did everything for the benefit of the masses and; ensured all round and equitable development.
“The law and order situation has deteriorated, the business community is incurring losses, unemployment rate is highest in the country, corruption and scams are happening everywhere, administrators & bureaucrats are not being held accountable. This is the state of affairs in J&K,” Rampaul said.
He exhorted upon his cadre to launch a full throttle campaign and reach out the masses explaining what they got during NC rule and what they were getting now.
“It is our duty to tell the people that peace and prosperity comes with social bonding not divisive politics. Ask the people to support our party wholeheartedly to revive the good old days of NC rule in J&K,” he asked the cadre.
Babu Rampaul also gave a message to people of J&K that NC leadership will work for creating more and more employment opportunities for youth and also take measures to control the inflation thus bringing succour to aggrieved masses.
He also said that we stand committed to secularism and social equality. He said the National Conference has a legacy of serving the poor and weaker sections of the society which was started by Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah.
The NC leader further maintained that the fight for restoration of statehood to J&K shall be the foremost agenda of the party.  “People of J&K have suffered a lot during the past three and half years since the abolition of statehood”.
He said that NC is fighting and will continue its fight till restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
Former minister asked youth to strengthen the hands of Dr Farooq Abdullah and Janab Omar Abdullah for getting rid of all the problems being faced by the youth of J&K. He urged the youth to get united and vote NC to power in the coming Assembly elections.
