A 44-year-old man was killed while as another one was injured after their vehicle collided with another vehicle at National Highway near Fruit Mandi Jablipora area of Bijbehera in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.
Officials said that there was a collision between a truck and a Mahindra XUV 300 at National Highway Bijbhera. In this incident two persons were critically injured and where shifted to Sub-district hospital Bijbehera for treatment.
However one of the injured namely Arshid Nabi Dar(44) succumbed to his injuries. The other injured has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat(50) and both are resident of Bagat Kanipora Srinagar.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.(GNS)
