The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday said that there are no plans to slash the application fee collected for various recruitment examinations.
The question was raised by NC leader and MLA Zainapora, Showkat Hussain Ganie during the ongoing Assembly Session.
The government in a reply to the question regarding whether it intended to reduce the application fee collected by JKSSB for recruitment exams and, if not, the reasons for the same, said, “It is clarified that the J&K Services Selection Board doesn’t intend to reduce the application fee being collected for various recruitment examinations, as the entire Administrative expenses for conducting different exam-related activities are to be covered from the fee collected into the Revolving Fund in absence of any Budgetary Support.”—(KNO)
