Jammu, Oct 25: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Jammu and Ladakh, led by Provident Fund Commissioner Rizwan Uddin, RPFC-I, RO Jammu and Ladakh, is set to conduct the Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 program on October 28, 2024.
The event will take place simultaneously at two venues: the SICOP IID Centre Conference Hall in Kathua (Jammu) at 11:00 AM and the Station Headquarter Nimmo in Leh, Ladakh, at 11:30 AM.
This outreach event, held in collaboration with the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) under its Suvidha Samagam initiative and the Directorate of Training, North and Border Welfare Employees’ Directorate (DTNBWED), aims to address grievances, provide handholding support, and enhance awareness of social security provisions for both workers and employers in the regions of Jammu and Ladakh.
The program will focus on educating attendees about filing grievances through platforms such as EPFiGMS, CPGRAMS, and other digital portals, along with topics on digital service awareness, fraud prevention, and employee rights. In addition to encouraging broad participation from subscribers, pensioners, employers, and industry representatives, the program will feature practical sessions on e-nomination, online claim filing, UAN activation, KYC updates, and the use of the Principal Employer Dashboard.
District Nodal Officers Devinder Singh and Sandeep Kumar will address the programs at the Jammu UT and Ladakh venues, respectively. Key EPFO schemes, including Provident Fund, Pension, and Insurance, will be discussed, with special sessions dedicated to resolving grievances related to member profile updates, death cases, and pension issues.
PF Commissioner Rizwan Uddin has also urged industrial leaders, including Ajit Bawa and Sandeep Mittal, to ensure that all eligible employees receive social security benefits from the first day of their employment. The EPFO welcomes suggestions from stakeholders during the program to further improve its social security outreach and support across the Union Territories of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.
