Srinagar, Sep 06: Upon the request of the District Police in Budgam, the Court of Additional Sessions Judge in Budgam, designated as an NIA (National Investigation Agency) Court under Section 22 of the NIA Act, has issued a proclamation against an active terrorist named Aaqib Ahmad Shergojri, son of Nazir Ahmad Shergojri and a resident of Khampora Sarai, Chadoora, Budgam. Aaqib Ahmad Shergojri is involved in case FIR No. 59/2022, registered under Section 20 and 38 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), at the Police Station Chadoora.
In connection with this matter, notices have been affixed at visible locations, including the main gate of the residential house of the aforementioned terrorist, by the concerned Police. These notices serve as a summons for the proclaimed absconder, Aaqib Ahmad Shergojri, requiring him to appear before the trial Court by or before October 03, 2023.
