Srinagar, Nov 03: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah on Sunday visited the Kokerbagh area in Zoonimar, Nowshera.
He was accompanied by Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, and Tanvir Sadiq, the party’s chief spokesperson and MLA of Zadibal. Local party members and functionaries also joined the visit.
During the visit, the residents of Kokerbagh Zoonimar expressed their concerns about electricity shortages and inflated electricity bills, the party said in a statement.
Dr Abdullah reassured them that these issues would be addressed promptly and solutions would be implemented to ease their hardships. He listened to the concerns of the local residents and promised swift action to resolve their problems.
