Srinagar, Jan 16: A week long Existing Management Development Programme (E-MDP) on “Expert Management in Agriculture” organised by School of Agriculture Economics and Horti-Business Management (SAE & HBM) SKUAST-K in collaboration with Institute of Home Sciences University of Kashmir concluded at SKUAST-K, Shalimar Campus.
The Programme aimed at equipping participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the intricacies of agricultural exports. Participants were exposed to various aspects of export, management, including international trade policies, market research, product development, logistics, and risk management.
In the valedictory address, Prof. S.H. Baba, Head SAE & HBM emphasized the importance of export management in promoting agricultural growth and economic development in the region.
The participants expressed gratitude for the knowledge and insights gained and appreciated the interactive sessions, case studies and exports business ideas competitions that provide them with practical know how with respect to the field of agricultural exports.
