Bandipora, Aug 26: A 40-year-old man lost his life due to an accidental fall from a tree in the Shahgund area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday.
An official said that Mohammad Ashraf Dar, a resident of Shahgund, accidentally fell from a tree following which immediate efforts were made to assist him, and he was rushed to Community Health Center Hajin.
However, despite efforts, he was declared deceased upon arrival, he said.
Following the necessary legal formalities, the body has been handed over to the deceased’s legal heirs to carry out the last rites, he added.
