INBA honours Dr Nyla Khan

Srinagar, March 09: Dr Nyla Ali Khan has been chosen as one among “The Phenomenal She” by the Indian National Bar Association (INBA) in the fifth edition of their publication.
The prestigious book launch organised by (INBA) is scheduled to be held in celebration of International Women’s Day ( March 11) at Constitution Club, New Delhi.
Daughter of Kashmir, Dr Nyla Ali Khan has authored several books & articles on the political issues & strifes confronting her homeland, Kashmir.
Her notable books are Islam, Women & Violence in Kashmir; The Life of a Kashmiri Woman; The Fiction of Nationality in an Era of Transnationalism; Educational Strategies for Youth Empowerment in Conflict Zones; Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah’s Reflections on Kashmir.
Dr. Nyla Khan was appointed Commissioner on the Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women by Senator Greg Treat in 2019. She is also a member of the Oklahoma Governor’s International Team.
In addition,she is an Adjunct Professor at Oklahoma City Community College USA & former Visiting Professor at the University of Oklahoma & former Associate Professor at the University of Nebraska – Kearney.
She is the granddaughter of late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, former Prime Minister / Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir.
