Srinagar, Dec 10: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday ordered a major reshuffle of officers in civil, transferring 22 officers.

As per the order issued by General Administration Department (GAD), Dr. Ghulam Nabi Itoo previously serving as Mission Director Jal Jeevan Mission has been appointed as the new Director of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK).

Mehmood Ahmad Shah, Director, Handloom and Handicrafts, Kashmir, has been appointed as Managing Director, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited while Nisar Ahmad Wani, awaiting orders, has been posted as Member, J&K Special Tribunal (Srinagar Bench).

Gulzar Ahmad Dar, Special Secretary, Housing and Urban Development, is now Special Secretary, School Education Department. Mussarat-ul-Islam, Managing Director, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited, has been appointed Director, Handloom and Handicrafts, Kashmir.

Vikas Gupta, Special Secretary, Disaster Management Department, has been transferred as Director, Tourism, Jammu while as Kanta Devi, Special Secretary, School Education Department, has been posted as Regional Director, Survey and Land Records, Jammu.

Syed Qamar Sajad, Additional District Development Commissioner, Baramulla, has been appointed Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation. Khurshid Ahmad Shah, Special Secretary, Jal Shakti Department, has been posted as Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission.

Anju Gupta, Regional Director, Survey and Land Records, Jammu, is now Special Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department while as Tassaduq Hussain Mir, Director, School Education, Kashmir, has been transferred as Special Secretary, ARI and Trainings Department.

Parveez Ahmad Raina, Member, J&K Special Tribunal (Srinagar Bench), has been posted as Additional Commissioner, State Taxes (Administration & Enforcement), Kashmir. Soheel Noor Shah, Additional Secretary, Tourism Department, has been transferred to the Department of Forest, Ecology, and Environment.

Masarat Hashim, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Pulwama, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Pahalgam and Qazi Irfan Rasool Zargar, Registrar-cum-Controller of Examinations, SKIMS, Srinagar, has been posted as Regional Transport Officer, Kashmir.

Mohammad Aslam, Joint Director, Information, Kashmir, has been appointed Registrar-cum-Controller of Examinations, SKIMS, Srinagar while as Vivek Modi, Director, Land Management, Jammu Development Authority, is now Additional Secretary, Floriculture, Parks and Gardens Department.

Tariq Hussain, Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Pahalgam, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Gulmarg and Garbi Rashid, Additional Secretary, Floriculture, Parks and Gardens Department, is now Director, Land Management, Jammu Development Authority.

Syed Shahnawaz, Regional Transport Officer, Kashmir, has been appointed Joint Director, Information, Kashmir.

In a separate order, a copy of which lies with Rising Kashmir, Bhawani Rakwal, JKAS, Transport Commissioner, J&K, is transferred and shall await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department while as Vishesh Paul Mahajan, JKAS, under orders of transfer as Director, Tourism, Jammu, in terms of Government Order No. 2014-JK(GAD) of 2024 dated 01.12.2024, is posted as Transport Commissioner, J&K.
