Ganderbal, Jun 06: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, on Thursday reviewed arrangements at Khemarial Stadium ahead of the mega anti-drug rally being organised under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan on June 6, saying the district administration has put in place all necessary arrangements for the event to be led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha as the chief guest.

The DC said the anti-drug initiative launched by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha is a crucial step towards safeguarding the youth and creating a drug-free society across Jammu and Kashmir, adding that elaborate security arrangements have also been put in place to ensure smooth and peaceful conduct of the padyatra.
“I urge all residents of Ganderbal district to join this campaign in maximum numbers and make the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan a success. People should gather at Khemarial Stadium at 7 a.m. and become part of this important movement,” the Deputy Commissioner said.
