Ghazipur, Apr24:Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed a conference on the ‘Role of Citizens in Holistic Development’ held at Rainbow Modern School, Ghazipur.
In his speech, the Lt Governor underscored the invaluable contribution of citizen participation in the nation’s progress.
“Citizen Participation is essential for holistic, inclusive development and to create a new future for the society. Active citizens strengthen the bond between the Government and the Society and ensure that the benefits of economic growth reach all sections,” remarked the Lt Governor.
Encouraging the populace, especially the youth, he urged them to step forward and raise awareness about their duties and responsibilities.
“It is our collective responsibility to ensure that the weaker sections of society enjoy social justice and equality, and strive to our utmost for the realization of the dream of making India a Developed Nation by 2047,” emphasized the Lt Governor.
Highlighting India’s ascent as a global economic power, he stressed the importance of every citizen fulfilling their duties and contributing towards nation-building.
Further emphasizing a shared commitment to nation-building, the Lt Governor urged people to work with dedication to make the 21st century India’s century.
