Ganderbal, May 02: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Ganderbal today etched a significant milestone in its firm commitment to the upliftment of tribal communities by successfully hosting a Mega Seed Cum Distribution Awareness Program under the aegis of the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) initiative. The event, a vibrant confluence of knowledge dissemination and tangible support, aimed at empowering tribal farmers of District Ganderbal with access to high-quality seed material and crucial awareness, poised to revolutionize agricultural productivity and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
The program witnessed the esteemed presence of Jenab Mia Mehar Ali, MLA Kangan, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, lending his strong support to this vital endeavor. The presence of Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganaie, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-Kashmir, as the Guest of Honour, further underscored the institutional commitment towards transforming the agricultural landscape of the region.
