Srinagar, Aug 28: The Chairperson and CEO of the Miss World Organization, Julia Morley, lauded the captivating beauty of Kashmir as she addressed the press during the 71st Miss World press conference held at SKICC.
Morley expressed her astonishment at the warm welcome extended by the locals and deemed Kashmir a blessed destination for tourism.
In an enthusiastic recounting of their experience in the region, Morley described it as nothing short of remarkable. She emphasized her earnest desire to showcase the finest facets of this exquisite location to the world. Overflowing with appreciation for the region’s incredible beauty, she underscored the potential of sharing this unique experience, believing it to be a tourism blessing.
Miss World 2023, Poland’s Karolina Bielawska, conveyed her deep gratitude for the opportunity to witness the captivating beauty of India. She admitted that the stunning beauty of Kashmir had exceeded her expectations.
She noted that whenever the name Kashmir is mentioned, its beauty automatically comes to mind, and witnessing it in person had been a mind-blowing experience for her. Karolina eagerly anticipated introducing her friends and family from around the world to the enchanting places India has to offer, such as Kashmir.
Sini Shetty, Miss India 2022, referred to India as a living monument. She shared that foreign visitors often feel like they have explored 20 different countries, as each state within India possesses its unique characteristics.
She emphasised that visiting India offers a new and enriching experience for everyone due to its rich heritage, diverse culture, and immense variety.
Shree Saini, Miss America also present at the event, expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome she received. Having visited India in February, she eagerly looked forward to returning to explore its beauty once again. She considered herself fortunate to have had the opportunity to revisit this beautiful place.
A representative from the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant, hailing from a small island, expressed her amazement at the warm reception in one of the world’s greatest countries. She eagerly anticipated her next visit and the chance to experience the incredible beauty of India once more.
It is noteworthy that this marked the first occasion on which the Miss World press conference was held in the Kashmir Valley. The local population holds hope that this event will contribute to attracting a greater number of international tourists from around the world to Kashmir.
This event was particularly significant, as it saw the presence of influential individuals from foreign nations, including the CEO of Miss World. This development follows the successful hosting of the G-20 event in May of this year.
