J&K Sports Council facilitates selection for Junior National Ball Badminton Championship

Srinagar, Mar 02: Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council accomplished a significant milestone as they conducted the rigorous screening test for the J&K Junior Ball Badminton Boys & Girls team. The event took place at the Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh Srinagar, setting the stage for the upcoming 68th Junior National Ball Badminton Championship.
Led by a distinguished Screening Committee comprising Burhan Ahmad Wani, Abdul Samad Wani, Ms. Arsheena Ashraf, and Basit Ahmad Khan, along with other esteemed members of the J&K Ball Badminton Association, the screening process was thorough and meticulous. The committee members brought their expertise and dedication to ensure the selection of the most deserving players who will represent J&K with pride at the national level.
The screening test saw promising talent vying for a coveted spot in the J&K team, with players displaying their skills and determination on the court. The successful candidates emerged from a pool of talented individuals, showcasing the depth of talent in the region.
The selected players will now gear up to compete in the 68th Junior National Ball Badminton Championship, scheduled to be held in Patna, Bihar, from March 10th to March 14th, 2024. This prestigious event will see young athletes from across the country converge to exhibit their prowess in the sport.
With the departure of the J&K team slated for March 6th, anticipation is high for their performance at the national championship. The athletes, accompanied by their coaches and support staff, are prepared to showcase their skills and bring glory to the state of Jammu and Kashmir on the national stage.
