BANDIPORA, SEPT 07: The Election Expenditure Observer for Bandipora District, Sudeep Dabas, on Saturday conducted a comprehensive review of enforcement activities in a meeting held at the Mini Secretariat, Bandipora.

The meeting aimed to ensure that all electoral regulations and financial protocols are being adhered to during the ongoing election process.

During the meeting, the observer took stock of several key measures, including banking activities, excise processes, GST compliance, seizure procedures, and other related activities.

He conducted a detailed assessment of banking operations to ensure transparency and compliance with election-related financial regulations. He also reviewed excise processes and Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance to confirm that all procedures are being followed correctly and that there are no violations.

Sudeep Dabas conducted a detailed evaluation of the seizure process to ensure that any confiscated materials are handled in accordance with legal requirements and election guidelines.

He emphasized the importance of rigorous enforcement and compliance with election laws and stressed enhancing enforcement activities.

Sudeep Dabas said, “Our primary objective is to ensure a transparent and fair election process by closely monitoring financial activities, excise processes, and seizure operations to uphold the integrity of the electoral system and prevent any potential misuse of resources.”

Among others, the meeting was attended by STO Mehraj Wani, DTO Sheikh Aabid, DIO Aadil Manzoor Wani, DySP Ahmad Shafee, LDM, ETO Danishwar Shaffi, and other concerned officials.
