Srinagar, April 22: According to few reports received from various parts of the UT, some miscreants have been trying to entrap the general public in the name of providing jobs at J&K Bank.
On closer scrutiny, it has come to the fore that some unscrupulous elements posing as senior bank officials are misleading gullible people by enticing them with ‘job opportunities at J&K Bank’.
On taking up the matter with the bank authorities, the bank’s spokesperson termed the miscreants as fraudsters selling jobs to the gullible, and said, “Through this medium, let me inform general public that whenever the Bank plans to conduct recruitment/s, we always issue a proper advertisement notice, which is circulated widely not only in the print media but also uploaded on the Bank’s official website and all its social-networking pages.”
“Therefore, regarding these disturbing reports, we would like to request all the concerned to remain vigilant and for any news regarding recruitment in the Bank, please keep visiting our website and official social-media pages. And don’t pay heed to any fraudster out there to dupe people impersonating as a senior official of the Bank and tarnish Bank’s image in the process. Kindly be smart to be safe”, the spokesperson said.
