Srinagar, May 11: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of the Parliament from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have expressed profound grief over an incident of fire that has damaged a portion of Jamia Masjid Sharief Noor-ul-Islam in Tral, Pulwama. The duo urged the authorities to act swiftly to restore the mosque to its position of majesty and grandeur.
Meanwhile, Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, MP Hasnain Masoodi, party leaders Sakina Itoo, Dr. Bashir Ahmed Veeri, Ghulam Mohi Ud Din Mir, Dr. Ghulam Nabi Bhat, have also expressed anguish over the unfortunate incident and asked the district administration to start the restoration work as soon as possible.
