The campus, adorned with the colors of the national flag since the night of August 1st, witnessed active participation from both teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as students, in a series of events throughout the day.
The celebrations began with the Principal, Professor (Dr.) Tehmina Yousuf, unfurling the tricolor in the presence of staff, students, and supporting personnel. In her address, Professor Yousuf highlighted the significance of Independence Day and linked it to the fourth anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan. She urged the youth and women to actively participate in the campaign, emphasizing their role in shaping a developed India by 2047. She further reflected on the day as a reminder of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and the ongoing responsibility to uphold democratic ideals.
