Srinagar, Jan 11: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in collaboration with Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is inviting online applications from the faculty members of AICTE approved Institutions for the Master Training Program in the field of High-Performance Computing (HPC).
The program is designed under the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM), a visionary initiative by the Government of India aimed at building capacity and capability in the area of HPC. The program will equip the faculty members with advanced knowledge, skills and expertise in HPC, and produce Master trainers who can effectively educate and train other faculties across the country.
Enrolling in the Master Trainer Program offers a range of benefits, including an in-depth exploration of HPC, building expertise in conducting large-scale HPC training, and opening up new career opportunities within the training and development sector. The Program content includes topics related to HPC basics, computer architecture, HPC clusters, Linux, shell scripting, etc.
A total of 100 seats are available for the HPC Master Training Program, in which one week of online and two weeks of offline training will be provided to the participants. The last date to register for the program is 20 January, 2024. The online training will begin from 29 January 2024 followed by offline training starting from 5th February 2024 and 12th February 2024 at two different centres of C-DAC in Pune and Bengaluru respectively.
