Budgam Police on Friday seized 32.29 Cft illicit timber(62 Sawns) and arrested an accused person involved in the commission of crime.
A Police Spokesperson said that Police Station Beerwah received an information that one person namely Ghulam Nabi Dar S/O Habibullah Dar R/o Russo Narbalhas kept illegally acquired timber at his home. Accordingly, a team from Police Station Beerwah conducted a raid on the specific location and *illicit timber 62 Sawns measuring (32.29 Cft)* was seized from the said house. The accused person involved was also arrested on the spot.
He said that case FIR number *09/2023* under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Beerwah & investigation taken up.
