Srinagar, Sep 12: The Jammu and Kashmir Health and Medical Education Department on Tuesday appointed an inquiry officer regarding “fraud and embezzlement” in DPC by Directorate of Family Welfare, MCH & Immunization, J&K.
As per an order of the H&ME, Dr Shafqat Khan, Additional Mission Director, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, J&K is appointed as an Inquiry Officer to enquire into the matter in consonance with the complaint preferred by Arshid Ahmad Dhobi, S/o Late Abdul Ahad Dhobi R/o Dhobipora Ganderbal before the General Administration Department.
In the order the health department has also issued the terms and references of the Inquiry officer that would be taken in to consideration during the inquiry.
“The inquiry officer shall find out actual designation of Arshid Ahmad Dhobi at his initial appointment and find out the facts behind the loss of his service book,” the order said.
The inquiry officer has been tasked to check whether an FIR has been lodged by the concerned DDO regarding loss of service book at relevant point of time or not.
“Whether the official (Arshid Ahmad Dhobi) has sought prior permission from the Government for appearing in the matriculation examination during the service,” it said.
As per the order the inquiry officer will also investigate what action has been taken against Zahoor Ahmad Chasti, Sr. Assistant and Mushtaq Ahmad Parray, I/C JHI for misplacement of Service Book of the official in question, who were found responsible by the committee constituted at the Directorate level.
The inquiry officer shall submit its report to the Administrative Department within a period of one month from the date of issuance of the order and the inquiry officer shall also follow the procedure laid down for such cases.
