Srinagar, May 23: The J&K Health and Medical Education Department has constituted a committee to review the list of existing hospitals empanelled under Rule 6-A of J&K Civil Services Rules, 1990.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to constitution of a committee of officers of H&ME Dept. to review the list of existing hospitals empanelled under Rule 6-A of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Medical Attendance-cum- Allowance) Rules, 1990,” the order reads.
As per the order, the committee may recommend the inclusion or exclusion of the empanelled hospitals with full justification thereof.
The committee would be headed by Principal GMC and its Associated Hospitals, Jammu (Convener), Principal GMC and its Associated Hospitals, Srinagar (Member), Director Health Services Kashmir (Member) and Chief Accounts Officer, Directorate of Health Services Jammu (Member).
“The Convener may co-opt any other officer to the committee from State Health Agency, J&K. The committee shall furnish its report and recommendations within 30 days from the date of the issuance of the order,” the order states.
