Srinagar, June 19: Halqua e Adab (HAS) has extended warm congratulations to Kashmiri writers for receiving prestigious awards from the Sahitya Akademi New Delhi for the year 2025.
Izhar Mubashir has been awarded the Bal Sahitya Puraskar for his children’s book ‘Shure Te Tchure Gyush’, a collection of short stories that captivate young readers. His work stands out for its creativity and ability to engage children with meaningful storytelling.
Saiqa Sehar has been recognized with the Yuva Puraskar for her critical work Harfas Harfas Zaag, showcasing her sharp insights and deep understanding of literature. Her achievement highlights the growing influence of young Kashmiri women in the literary world.
Members of Kashmiri’s oldest literary organisation has expressed pride in the accomplishments of both writers, noting that their success brings honor not just to themselves but to the entire Kashmir.
