New Delhi, Apr 12: Former Minister and NPP President Harsh Dev Singh Wednesday shot a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighting the problem of bourgeoning unemployment in J&K and the growing anger amongst the youth against the recruitment agencies and the current regime.
Singh urged the Prime Minister to order a probe that shall be monitored by Supreme Court.
According to a party statement, Singh informed the Primne minister that job scams have been hitting the headlines while the educated unemployed youth have been persistently on the roads agitating for a fair deal and justice with none to take note of their shrill cries.
He stated that a deep rooted patronised culture of corruption continues to prevail in the UT where the educated youth has become the worst casualty of the system.
The NPP leader highlishted the infamous scams in the selection of PSIs, FAAs, JK Bank and JEs besides allegations of scam in Fire and Emergency Services and engagement of dubious company for recruitment.
Harsh Dev appealed to the Prime Minister to order Supreme Court monitored probe into all the recruitment scams during the last few years so that the justice is delivered to the youth of J&K who have been languishing on roads for long”.
