Handwara, Sep 16: In a proud moment for Handwara, 20-year-old Owais Manzoor from Hanjishart village has become the first commercial pilot from Kupwara district to join Air India.
His achievement has brought immense joy and recognition to the entire region.
Speaking exclusively to Rising Kashmir, Owais expressed his long-standing passion for aviation, which started at a young age. “I have been fascinated by flying since childhood, and becoming a pilot was my dream,” he said.
However, the journey to achieving this dream was not without challenges. Owais highlighted the difficulties he faced along the way but credited his success to hard work and divine blessings. “It was not an easy path, but by the grace of God and my dedication, I have finally reached my goal,” he shared.
The news of Owais’ accomplishment has been widely celebrated in Handwara, with many praising the young pilot’s determination and perseverance.
