Jammu, Apr 03: Apni Party Provincial President Jammu and former minister Manjit Singh on Thursday expressed his disappointment and concern over the government’s “failure” to fulfill its promises.
He said the marginalised sections of society have been left vulnerable, with no alternatives, as the government continues to neglect their basic demands. “The government’s fake promises have played with the lives of our youth, who are struggling with unprecedented unemployment rates,” Singh said in a statement. “Despite assurances of one lakh jobs, the government has failed to provide even a fraction of these opportunities, leaving our youth in a state of uncertainty and despair.”
The Apni Party leader also highlighted the plight of daily wagers and other employees, who are being denied basic provisions. “It is unacceptable that the government continues to ignore the legitimate demands of these workers, who are the backbone of our economy,” he added.
Singh said the Apni Party will always fight for the rights of the marginalised and vulnerable sections of society. “We will continue to raise our voices against the government’s failures and demand accountability for their unfulfilled promises,” he said.
