Srinagar, March 10: The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, along with the GOC of the Counter Insurgency Force (CIF), on Monday visited Basantgarh and reviewed the security situation in the region.
Army spokesman said that the visit aimed to assess the current security situation and ensure operational efficiency in the region.
He said during the visit, the Corps Commander praised the excellent synergy and operational tempo demonstrated by all agencies involved in maintaining security.
He commended all Ranks for their dedication & exhorted them to maintain exemplary professionalism.
Meanwhile Army Commander commended troops for their operational readiness in challenging conditions and exhorted them to maintain high state of morale in extreme weather and terrain conditions.
He also complimented all ranks for their strict vigil and emphasised upon preparation for the emerging security challenges. Commander also interacted with the troops and complimented them for their steadfastness.
During the visit, the Army Commander exhorted all ranks to remain focused on operational preparedness and continue working with utmost zeal and enthusiasm.
