GDC Ramgarh organises Tug of War matches

Samba, Jan 19: Department of Physical Education and Sports, in collaboration with NSS unit Prabha, of Government Degree College Ramgarh on Friday organised Tug of War matches here on the Campus. The activity was conducted under the aegis of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA).
Both Male and Female students of the college participated in the event. In the Male category, 18 students participated while in the Female category 16 students participated in the event. The students enthusiastically showcased their skills.
The matches were organised by Anil Kumar PTI, Department of Physical Education & Sports of the College, under the supervision of Prof. Brham Dutt, NSS PO & Convener of Sports Committee.
Speaking on the occasion, the College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra congratulated the winning and runner- up teams for their display of discipline and sportsmanship. She also applauded the efforts of the organizers of the events.
The matches were witnessed and prize distribution ceremony was attended by Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Dr. Snobar, Prof. Brham Dutt, Prof. Sandeep Kumari, Dr. Shivali Choudhary, Priya Sharma, Akanksha Kangotra, Sonali Dutta, Arpana Devi, Dr Imtiyaz Ahmed, Ram Murti and Sunil Kumar.
