Former ministers, MLAs, bureaucrats express condolence with DC Srinagar

Jammu, Sep 10: Former ministers and MLAs and several bureaucrats visited Bhattian here at the residence of father-in-law of DC Srinagar Aijaz Asad, and conveyed condolences to him and the bereaved family members.
Former minister Mian Altaf Ahmed, ex-MP Ch Talib Hussain, Shabir Ahmed Khan VC DDC Rajouri and ex-minister, Ravinder Raina president BJP JK, Adv Qammar Ch ex-MLA, Ch Akram ex-MLA, Aslam Khan ex-MLA, Muzaffar Khan former judge, Junaid Azim Mattu Mayor of Srinagar, Administrative Secretary Tribal Affairs Department Dr Shahid Iqbal, DC Rajouri Vikas Kundal, DDCs, BDCs, IAS & KAS officers, engineers, doctors and the leaders of various political parties visited Bhattian to express sympathy with DC Srinagar and the bereaved family 
They prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear the irreparable loss. They hailed the contributions of Late Er Qasim to society and said he dedicated his entire life to the welfare of people.
The dignitaries termed Late Er Qasim as a kindhearted human being possessing remarkable qualities. “The demise of this great personality has created a vacuum in society which is hard to fill as he has left an imprint of public service with a sense of commitment and unmatched sincerity,” they said.
The visitors said Late Er Qasim was one of the first chief engineers from the Pir Panjal region bearing double engineering degrees in both Electrical and Civil Engineering streams.
