EPFO to organise ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ prog in J&K, Ladakh on July 27

Jammu, July 25: EPFO Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, will be holding Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, an awareness and outreach program at Dogra Law College, Jammu in association with PHD Chambers of Commerce and Industry; KRCL, Reasi; District Industries Centre, Anantnag; Druk Auto Zone, Airport Road, Leh on July 27, 2023, simultaneously.
Employers and employees of aforementioned areas would be sensitized about provisions of social security, besides covering themes of Filing Grievance & Fraud Prevention – how to file grievance on EPFiGMS, other grievance filing provisions e.g. CPGRAMS, other portals; education on Digital Services (UMANG, Digi Locker etc.); awareness and fraud prevention; and rights of employees in respect of employers.
The aim of the program is to ensure broad based participation, awareness, grievance redressal and information exchange network closer to the stakeholders of EPFO.
The P. F. Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin informed that subscriber, pensioners, establishments, employees’ representatives, and industrial chambers are advised to actively participate in Nidhi Aapke Nikat Program. The programme at Jammu, Reasi, Anantnag and Leh would be addressed by the District Nodal Officers Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Shri Jagpreet Singh Cheema, Shri Suhail Khan and Shri Pawan Kumar respectively.
The event at Jammu is being organized in coordination with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Jammu. Shri Rahul Sahai, Chairman PHDCCI, and Shri Samar Charak, Co-Chairman PHDCCI, Jammu will be present. Shri Rizwan Uddin, P F Commissioner-I would preside over the outreach programme, which aims at sensitization of stakeholders towards social security and to facilitate compliance under various provisions of EPF & M P Act, 1952.
