Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh on Sunday said that Drones are being used in dropping money and IEDs together by Pakistan to keep militancy alive in Jammu and Kashmir”.

While talking to media persons in Jammu, DGP Singh said, “These days cash is also being sent through drones and also along with IEDs by Pakistan-based agencies.”

“Narcotics and weapons together being smuggled from Pakistan now. These weapons go to terrorists & proceeds from sale of narcotics used in terrorist activities. All accused in the Poonch case will be unearthed and action will be taken against them”, he said.

DGP said, “G20 events are being organised in Jammu & Kashmir, and we are making all possible security arrangements for the smooth conduct of these events.”

Earlier on Saturday Indian Army said that troops have recovered Indian and foreign currency worth over Rs 2 crores & around 7kg of narcotics from the residence of one Mohd Rafique in the Poonch sector.
