Jammu, Dec 9: Trishisva Proch (IV-F), a young dance prodigy from Delhi Public School Jammu, brought laurels to the school and his parents by winning a Gold medal and a glittering trophy in the 2nd Mount Everest Singing & Dance Sports Championship 2022 organized by Nepal Dance Sports Association held at Kathmandu, Nepal (in the age category of 8-10 years) from 30th Nov to 1st Dec. 2022. Trishisva performed in the Solo Dance Freestyle Event. He has also received a Certificate of Participation.
Around 120 participants from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bhutan & Bangladesh took part and Trishva won the coveted first position and a Gold medal in the said championship. He has also been selected for the next level of the championship to be held in Thailand later.
Trishisva has been trained in International, Western and Bollywood Free Style of dancing. He started dancing at a very young age and later developed it as a hobby. Earlier too, he had displayed his amazing dance talent in the All India Dance Sports Festival 2019 and in National Dance Sports Championship 2020-21 & 2022 and won gold medals in both events. He has shown his brilliant skills in many dance competitions held at local levels before moving on to the district and state level championships gradually.
Principal-DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra applauded Trishisva and his parents for his brilliant achievement. She said that students should try to enhance their abilities through such exposure for their holistic development.
President-RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC, Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi congratulated Trishisva and extended their best wishes for all his future endeavours.
