The Democratic Progressive Azad Party’s spokesperson, Waseem Yaqoob, expressed deep concern over the deteriorating conditions at the Gandola base in Gulmarg. Recent pictures sent by concerned tourists have shed light on the shameful state of affairs, blaming the CEO of the Gandola project, Gulmarg.

In a statement issued here, Yaqoob called the current condition of the Gandola base an utter shame and a cause for alarm. The Gandola project in Gulmarg, which holds immense potential for tourism and economic growth, seems to have fallen victim to neglect and mismanagement.

Yaqoob emphasized the importance of maintaining and improving infrastructure in popular tourist destinations like Gulmarg. He stressed that the well-being and safety of tourists should be a top priority for the authorities responsible for overseeing such projects.

“It is disheartening to see the state of affairs at the Gandola base in Gulmarg. These pictures clearly indicate a lack of maintenance and care, which is unacceptable,” Yaqoob stated. “Tourism is a vital industry for the region, and such negligence not only tarnishes our reputation but also puts visitors at risk.”

The spokesperson highlighted the need for immediate action to rectify the situation, urging the CEO of the Gandola project, Gulmarg, to take immediate steps to address the concerns raised by the tourists. Yaqoob stressed that accountability must be upheld, and those responsible for the current conditions must be held answerable.

“Our party demands a thorough investigation into the negligence and mismanagement that has led to this sorry state of affairs,” Yaqoob emphasized. “We also urge the authorities to initiate a comprehensive maintenance plan to ensure the safety and well-being of tourists who visit Gulmarg.”

The Democratic Progressive Azad Party, known for its commitment to progress and development, stands firmly in its resolve to hold accountable those responsible for the deteriorating conditions at the Gandola base. They reiterate their support for tourism and the economic growth it brings to the region while urging the authorities to prioritize infrastructure upkeep and visitor safety.
