Leh, Apr 04:The District Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Team in Leh orchestrated a vibrant Bike Rally on April 4, starting from Eco-park.
The rally, designed to directly engage with citizens, aimed to spread crucial information regarding the significance of voting and to galvanize voter registration among eligible individuals. Under the banner “Your vote, your choice, your duty,” the campaign sought to instill a sense of civic responsibility among the populace.
The event was inaugurated by eminent dignitaries including Chief Electoral Officer, UT Ladakh, Yetindra M. Maralkar, and District Election Officer, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve. They were joined by Joint Chief Electoral Officer, UT Ladakh, Sonam Chosjor, and other key officials, reinforcing the collective commitment to democratic participation.
The Bike Rally embarked from Eco Park, Leh, traversing through various localities such as Housing Colony, Choglamsar, Agling, Skara, and Changspa, before culminating at the DC office, Leh.
