Srinagar, July 26: Director FCS&CA Kashmir, Dr. Owais Ahmed, visited Lethpora Godown Saturday to review the stock position of foodgrains at the godown and lifting process.According to a statement issued here, on the occasion, he directed the officers and the officials of the department to complete the lifting process in timely manner. Further, he directed that sufficient number of labourers should be made available at the godowns for loading & unloading purposes besides no truck provided by the JKRTC should remain stranded or halted at the godowns.FCI authorities were directed to ensure sufficient stocking of foodgrains across all the godowns so that the lifting process is smoothly executed.They were also directed to ensure that quality check of the stocks is conducted on regular basis and FIFO methodology and latest stocking norms are adopted by all the godowns.
