Dir Health reviews status of HEOC establishment

Srinagar, August 22: To review the status of establishment of Health Emergency Operation Centre (HEOC) as per the directions of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare GoI at PHC Chanapora. Director Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) Dr Jehangir Bakshi today conducted a joint visit to PHC Chanapora and MMC Sanat Nagar.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Health Emergency Operation Centres (HEOCs) un-der the Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (ABHIM) are designed to provide robust responses to health emergencies.
They play a critical role in coordinating and managing health crises, ensuring timely inter-ventions, and improving overall emergency preparedness and response at both state and national levels.
The team also took stock of the status of Oxygen Generation Plant (OGP) at PHC Chanapo-ra. The visit was focused on making both the institutions functional after thorough gap analysis.
CMO Srinagar along with his team assured the DHSK and other divisional level officers re-garding smooth functioning of the said institutes as per the directions from higher authori-ties.
DHSK also interacted with the patients and public while assuring them redressal of their demands within a stipulated time.
