Srinagar, Aug 09: The newly posted Deputy Commissioner of Kupwara Shrikant Balasaheb Suse Saturday visited Sharda temple near LoC in Teetwal.As per a statement issued here, the DC was received by coordinator Ajaz Khan at the temple and welcomed with a sharda shawl and citation. The new DC on a first visit to Teetwal during a Tiranga rally there praised the management of the temple and directed the concerned staff to assist the temple committee in the forthcoming Sharda Divas that falls on August 31. Meanwhile, Head of Save Sharda Committee Kashmir, Ravinder Pandita said: “Save Sharda Committee is also commemorating Guru Teg Bahadur ji’s 350th anniversary of martyrdom also on September at Teetwal.”
