The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar today chaired the 2nd District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) meeting for Implementation of PM Vishwakarma Scheme in District Baramulla at the meeting hall of DC office here.
At the outset, General Manager DIC provided a comprehensive overview of progress made with respect to the implementation of Vishwakarma Scheme in the district since its inauguration.
The meeting held a threadbare discussion on various aspects for the successful implementation of the scheme like review of onboarding process of artisans, craftsmen and other skilled people, assessment of registration at gram panchayat and urban areas, plan for the second tier verification process and planning of effective training strategies for the registered applicants.
