Constitution guardian of rights of every citizen: AAP

Jammu, Nov 26: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Saturday organized an event to observe Constitution Day during which speakers highlighted the significance of the Day and said the charter provides safety, security and safeguards the rights of citizens of India.
 
The programme was organised by the party in Jammu on the Constitution Day
(Samvidhan Divas) with Incharge of AAP SC wing Yashpal Kundal and President of the wing Advocate Gourav Sarangal leading the event, while  party workers from different parts of Jammu attended the meeting.
 
Dr. BR Ambedkar was remembered on the occasion and floral tributes were paid and his services were remembered, a statement said.
 
A constitution pledge was also taken and importance of the Day was highlighted as on this day the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India.
 
Addressing the event, President of AAP SC wing, Advocate Gourav Sarangal said that Constitution Day has a vital importance in India’s history as it marks the day when the Constituent Assembly adopted the Constitution of India which is the backbone of the country.
 
He said that people like Dr. BR Ambedkar and other members of the drafting committee are the faces behind this who gave India a constitution which provides safety, security and safeguards the rights of citizens of India.
 
Similarly, Prabhari of AAP’s SC wing Yashpal Kundal also discussed the importance of the day and of the constitution that acts as the guardian of rights of every citizen of the country.
