Srinagar, Aug 19: Congress leader Dr Audil Farooq Mir Lasjan, along with hundreds of dedicated workers from Lal Chowk Assembly Constituency, on Monday gave a rousing welcome to the newly appointed Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President, Tariq Hamid Karra, at the party headquarters here.
Dr Audil in a statement expressed his enthusiasm for Karra’s leadership, asserting, “We believe that under Tariq Karra Sahib’s dynamic leadership, the Congress party will reach new heights in J&K. His vision will enhance our connection with the party workers, leadership, and the people at large.”
He emphasised the critical role of Karra’s leadership at this pivotal moment, stating, “As we approach the assembly elections, our esteemed President’s expertise and strong leadership will prove to be immensely crucial. His guidance will help end the divisive forces and address the significant neglect the state has faced since August 2019.”
Pledging his full support, Dr Audil added, “I will always stand ready to support the party president in any initiative or effort he undertakes. Together, we will work towards a brighter future for our state.”
Moreover, the workers from the Lal Chowk constituency gave emotive slogans in favour of Congress saying ‘Haath Badlaga Halaat Inshallah! Hain Taiyaar Hum Inshallah!’
