Srinagar Sept 05: Congress on Thursday expelled a party leader from the basic membership of the party.
In a statement issued to the press, the JKPCC spokesperson declared that the party had expelled Ch. Gulzar Khatana from the basic membership of the party, with immediate effect.
He said Khatana has filed nomination papers from 42-Kokernag(ST) assembly segment as an independent candidate against the spirit of alliance. JKPCC Spokesperson emphasized that the Party would not tolerate any breach of alliance unity.
