Jammu, Apr 04: A meeting of the scrutinizing committee of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry was held here on Monday for the elections which shall be conducted on April 23 at Royal Park Greater Kailash Jammu.
The Chamber in a statement said the committee members comprised Shiv Partap Gupta Election President, Manmohan Singh, Vijay Gupta, Kulbhushan Gupta and Anil Gupta.
The scrutinizing committee said that after thorough scrutiny, the nomination papers of the following candidates contesting for various posts of office bearers of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry were found valid.
For President Post: Arun Gupta, Rakesh Gupta and Surinder Mahajan; for Vice President: Anil Gupta, Rajinder Gupta; for Jr. Vice President: Ashu Gupta, Sh. Rajiv Gupta (Kaka); for Secretary General: Ajay Langer, Deepak Aggarwal, Manish Gupta; for Secretary: Rajesh Gupta, Raj Gupta, Mukesh Gupta; and for Treasurer: Manik Gupta, Rajesh Gupta.
The contesting candidates were given a copy of the Code of Conduct for canvassing during the election and they were requested to strictly adhere to it.
