Srinagar, June 18: The Jammu and Kashmir government conducted a two-day workshop on Cyber Security and Crisis Management to train officials from various departments to become “Cyber Warriors” to meet emerging threats and challenges.
As per an official statement, the J&K government in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) and the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, conducted a two-day state-level workshop titled “CCMP Workshop and Cybersecurity Exercise” at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), Srinagar, from June 16 to 17.

The workshop concluded with a Valedictory Ceremony, which included a special address by Dr Sanjay Bahl, Director General, CERT-In. He congratulated all participants for their active engagement and emphasised the need to shift from reactive cybersecurity to proactive cyber resilience — focusing on rapid recovery while maintaining essential operations during a cyber crisis.
