Srinagar, Nov09: National Conference (NC) vice- president Omar Abdullah was felicitated by a group of Bharat Scouts and Guides who had called on him at the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar.
Following the foundation day observance of the Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG), a troop of the scouts led by Scout’s Master Muhammad Amin and its District President Imran Khan met JKNC VP Omar Abdullah and other party functionaries.
Provincial President Nasir AslamWani, Provincial Vice President Ahsan Pardesi, Deputy Political Secretary to VP MudassarShahmiri were also present on the occasion.
The visiting scout’s troop also presented scout scarves and badges to the party Vice President and other functionaries on the occasion.
The vice-president appreciated the efforts of BSG India for their efforts in developing physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual potentials of the young people in order to make them responsible citizens of the country and the world.
