Bakaya expresses shock over killing of Sanjay Sharma

Jammu, Feb 26, 2023: Apni Party General Secretary Vijay Bakaya has expressed shock over the killing of Sanjay Kumar Sharma at Achan Pulwama on Sunday.
He said this incident is another reminder by terrorists that the minority Hindus in Kashmir are on their radar and their lives will not be spared if they stay in Kashmir.
He said that in this hostile environment how the minority Hindus can live without fear especially the employees who are permanently stationed at various places in the valley.
Bakaya urged the administration to take fresh stock of the situation and make foolproof arrangements to prevent targeted killings, and till such time as the perpetrators of these crimes are not completely eliminated. “…administration should take a realistic view of the apprehensions of the employees and other minority Hindus living in the valley and reach out to them with empathy and not take a rigid stand about the employees resuming duties and not paying salaries and increase security around the other minority Hindus living there”.
