Ganderbal, Oct 23: An Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) awareness camp on the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) was successfully conducted at District Hospital Ganderbal on Wednesday. The camp aimed at enhancing public outreach and facilitating the creation of Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHA) for patients visiting the hospital.
As part of the event, a comprehensive capacity-building workshop was organized for hospital staff and administration, focusing on the conceptual and technical framework of ABDM. The training aimed to equip healthcare providers with the necessary skills to implement the digital mission effectively.
In addition to this, several block and zonal-level capacity-building workshops were conducted earlier this month in zones and blocks of District Srinagar. These workshops were attended by Medical Officers (MOs), Staff Nurses, Mid-Level Health Providers (MLHPs), Block ASHA Coordinators (BACs), and ASHA Facilitators, aiming to strengthen healthcare delivery through digital integration.
More such awareness camps and capacity-building initiatives are planned for the coming months to enhance the adoption of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission among citizens and healthcare providers.
