Ganderbal, Feb 12: In view of regular traffic jams in the district, the traffic police have asked the people to abstain from parking their vehicles in the main market of Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
An official from traffic police department Kangan, Latif Ahmad told Rising Kashmir that despite having parking slots in the area, people park their vehicles in the main market, which often causes traffic jams, resulting in causing inconvenience to the people.
“If any vehicle is found wrongly parked, it will be seized under law,” he said.
He further said that around Kangan there are parking spaces managed by the Ganderbal administration but instead of using the parking spaces, the people carelessly park their vehicles in the main market.
