Apni Party delegation visits R K Thapa’s bereaved family

Jammu, May 31: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, accompanied by several senior party colleagues, visited the residence of Raj Kumar Thapa, a government official who lost his life when an artillery shell struck his home in Rajouri town on May 10. He Thapa was serving as the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) of Rajouri.
According to a press release issued here, Bukhari led a party delegation to meet the bereaved family of Mr. Thapa at Roop Nagar, Jammu and extended his heartfelt condolences to them.
Speaking on the occasion, the Apni Party President said, “We are all pained and deeply grieved by the death of Mr Thapa and others who fell prey to the recent relentless shelling from across the border. These deaths have brought not only misery and grief to their families, but also to the entire population of Jammu and Kashmir.”
On this occasion, Apni Party leaders prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and for patience and solace for his family to endure the pain of this irreparable loss.
The leaders who accompanied the party president during this condolence visit included General Secretary Vijay Bakaya, Provincial president Manjit Singh, Provincial Senior Vice president Faqir Nath, Provincial Secretary / In-charge Trade Wing Aijaz Kazmi, District President Jammu Urban Abhay Bakaya, Provincial Social Media In-charge Jammu Vaibhav Mattoo, senior leader M K Yogi and others.
