Srinagar, Apr 16: Hailing from Urdana Village in Bhaderwah Town of Doda District, an aspiring young woman has risen to prominence by securing the seventh rank in the prestigious Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) 2023 results. Anmol, who previously clinched the top spot in the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination (JKCCE) 2022–23, now stands as a beacon of achievement for the region.
Anmol’s journey traces back to her humble beginnings in Kishtwar district, where she completed her primary education up to the 5th grade before continuing her studies in Jammu. Graduating with honors in BA with LLB from Gujarat National Law University in 2021, she embarked on her path toward public service.
Currently undergoing training as a member of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS), Anmol reflects on her focus on the UPSC examinations following her success in the JKAS exams. She acknowledges the rigorous competition of the national-level UPSC exams, expressing gratitude for the support of her family and drawing inspiration from figures like Dr.SehrishAsgar, whose work she admires.
Anmol’s aspirations extend beyond personal achievement; she envisions leveraging her position to serve her community and contribute to societal betterment. Her dedication and determination have earned recognition from the Lieutenant Government of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory and serve as an inspiration to aspiring youth.
“The UPSC examinations are highly competitive, being a national-level examination, and we have competed with aspirants from all other Indian states who also appeared in these examinations,” she said
“I aspire to work for the welfare of the people and contribute to the betterment of society. My aim is to ensure that all the schemes designed for their benefit reach them,” she added.
Joining Anmol in her triumph, at least eleven candidates from Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory have also cracked the UPSC CSE-2023. Notable achievers include Arjun Gupta (Rank 32), MananBhat (Rank 88), and Harnit Singh Sudan (Rank 177), among others.
The Lieutenant Government of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory tweeted “Heartiest congratulations to AnmolRathore (AIR:7) and all aspirants from J&K who have cleared UPSC CSE-2023. Your remarkable achievements will inspire youth of J&K. Best wishes to all the successful candidates,”.
At least eleven candidates from the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory have successfully cracked the UPSC CSE-2023, with AnmolRathore securing the 7th rank in the UPSC examination.
However the Arjun Gupta secured rank 32, MananBhat attained rank 88, and Harnit Singh Sudan secured rank 177. Mohammad Haris Mir secured Rank 345, Mohammad FarhanSeh achieved Rank 369, Aparajita Aryan attained Rank 381, Ghulam Maya Din secured Rank 388, Suvan Sharma achieved Rank 412, SeeratBaji secured Rank 516, and Dinash Kumar achieved Rank 1003.
The results for the Civil Services 2023 examination were announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday via the official website.
During this year, AdityaSrivastava achieved the first position with AIR 1, followed by AnimeshPradhan securing AIR 2, and DonuruAnanya Reddy at AIR 3. A total of 1,016 candidates have successfully cracked the Civil Services Exam 2023.
